Continuing Education
LearnMoreSaveLives produces educational classes for EMS providers through live, webcast, and archived programs.
To get continuing education:
1) Watch a class.
--Select a class from the list of "Available Classes with Quizzes for Purchase" below or directly from the "Archives" page.
--To play the video of the class, click on the play button on the embedded video.
--View the section below entitled “Help Using The Site” for more information on watching video.
2) Log in to your account.
--Use the login at the upper right of every page.
--Click the "create new account" link if you don’t have an account.
3) Purchase the quiz.
--This is done with the "Purchase the Quiz" link on the class page.
--When you purchase the quiz, a large red box will appear on the right side of the page with a link to the quiz.
4) Take the quiz.
--When you pass the quiz your information will automatically be submitted to CECBEMS and you will receive continuing education credit.
-- If you do not pass on the first attempt, the quiz and answers will be reviewed and you will be able to retest.

Help Using This Site
This page gives you really useful information so that you can view classes, take quizzes, and get continuing education credit. It’s divided into three sections: Watching a class, Taking a quiz and getting credit, and Information for agencies and agency training officers.
Watching a Class
Watching a class is easy (and free). To watch a class live (which also lets you interact live with the instructor), look at the list of upcoming classes and pick the class you want to watch. 30 minutes before the class starts, a banner will appear giving you a countdown to the start of the class. Clicking on that banner will take you to the broadcasting page. 5 minutes before the start of the class, a slideshow will begin to run. And then the class will start. Watch live and use the commenting box below the screen to interact with the instructor. If the screen looks like it’s frozen, clack on the big Play symbol in the middle of the video screen or reload your page
To watch an archived class, just go to the archives page or click on the “archived” tab and select the class you want to watch. On the page for the class you will find an embedded video. Just click the start button and away you go.
Coming soon, you will also be able to download a Podcast of the class directly to your video enabled portable player. Stay tuned for more details.
Remember that watching classes is governed by the Terms of Service of this site. Watching the class signifies that you accept these Terms of Service.
Taking a Quiz and Getting Continuing Education Credits
Taking a quiz is also easy. On the class page (accessed through the “Upcoming” and “Archived” menus), if a quiz is currently available, there is a link on the bottom of the page to purchase that quiz. Make sure you are logged into your account (Don’t have an account? Just click the “Create a New Account” link underneath the login fields on the top of the page) and then click the purchase link for the quiz. You will be taken through the purchase process. At the end of that there will be a large box on the right side of your screen that has links to all the quizzes you haven’t completed. Just click the link, take the quiz, and when you pass, you will receive an e-mail with your congratulations, a confirmation that the information was received at CECBEMS, and your certificate. If you don’t see an immediate e-mail for the next few weeks, Don’t Panic, we’re just making sure that CECBEMS is getting good data. This will be completely automatic shortly.
